War map - Australia, China, Japan, and the South Pacific
Australian War map published between 1914 and 1918 with an emphasis on German possessions in the Pacific (German Samoa) and in China. The map shows the area of influence (British, French, USA, German.), although there are some errors: Wallis and Futuna were under French protectorate and not British; Niue ("Savage island") was under British rule, not American. Nauru ("Pleasant I.") was conquered in 1914 by Australian troops from the Germans.
