Title in the Leupe catalogue (NA): Gezicht op Point de Gale van de zeezijde. Corresponds almost entirely with the illustration rendered in Valentijn V, page 22. Depicted in the centre of the image is a strip of land with on it houses, a church and vegetation. In the foreground the sea with several trading vessels and smaller boats.
