VIENNENSE TERRITORIUM OB RES BELLICAS INTER CHRISTIANOS ET TURCAS NUPERRIME EDITUM
This map of Vienna and vicinity was published as a result of the Turkish siege of the city in 1683. The development of the siege was rather spectaculair especially since the capture of the city was frustrated at the very last moment by an allied army led by the Polish king John_III_Sobieski. The Polish king succeeded to relieve the city and to conquer the Turkish army.

Reason: its maker died more than 100 years ago, and a faithful scan of a flat work adds no new copyright.
