Uranometria Lupus
The constellation of the Wolf (Lupus) depicted in Johann Bayer's Uranometria (1603). Bayer assigned 20 Greek letter (so-called Bayer designations) from α to υ to the brighter stars of the constellation. However, the 18th-century French astronomer Nicolas-Louis de Lacaille discarded almost all of these and reassigned new codes.
