Serpens et Serpentarius - Prodromus astronomiae 1690
Johannes Hevelius lays out the fundamentals of astronomy, which are useful both for creating a new and more accurate catalog of fixed stars and for correcting the planetary tables. In addition, there were the two catalogs of fixed stars, the larger one from 1660 and the smaller one covering the entire year 1700. The table of lunar motions in the constellation Libra extends into the next two centuries.
