Novissima COMITATUS ZUTPHANIAE Totiusq: Fluminis DESCRIPTIO

The map of the county of Zutphen was published by Frederik de Wit (1630-1706). The map was a copy of a much older map from the hand of Nicolaes van Geelkercken (c. 1585-1656). Van Geelkercken produced the map in the thirties of the 17th century for the purpose of historiography of Gelderland by Johan Isaksson Pontanus. More copies were distributed by Nicolaas Visscher, each one adapted to actuality.

Reason: its maker died more than 100 years ago, and a faithful scan of a flat work adds no new copyright.
