International radio news map, 1941
A 1941 map of the world, made for Don Lee Broadcasting System "The Nation's Greatest Regional Network." It's spread across two images, printed front and back, one focusing on the Americas, East Asia, and the Pacific, the other showing Europe, Africa, and western Asia. The map differentiates between Axis Powers, Axis-occupied territory, places defeated by the Axis but not occupied, and places occupied by Britain and her Allies. At that time, the U.S. was non-belligerent and is colored as such.
