ASIAE NOVA DELINEATIO
The image of the continent Asia did hardly change during the 17th century. This map by Nicolaes Visscher II (1649-1702) was based on late 16th century representations from the atlases by Gerardus Mercator (1512-1594) and Abraham Ortelius (1527-1598).
