A Bad Head
Professor Peacemaker points out aspects on the Phrenological Chart of the South American Continent: Colombia is Combativeness, Venezuela Pure Cussedness, Ecuador Pugnacity, Guiana Contentiousness, Peru Quarrelsomeness, Brazil Bellicosity, Bolivia Scrappiness, Argentine Belligerency, and Chili Aggressiveness. The Caption reads Prof. Peacemaker - How can you expect anything but trouble with a head like that? Contemporary news accounts relate that there was conflict throughout South America, with a war narrowly averted between Chile and Argentina, and a revolt of Panamanians from Colombian control.
